The Voices are a unique society. They inhabit the islands to the northwest of the Strings Kingdom, and are reachable only through (very controlled) boats in and out of the Soprano Strait.

There are four sub-districts - Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. Each district has a representative colour so citizens may distinguish themselves from one another, but all have mandated uniforms (there is no such thing as "fashion" wink . Once ruled by a single leader who was overthrown (and decapitated!) in a bloody revolution, the Voices are now governed by a council of four individuals. These individuals say that they are the Voice of the people, and that all people on the island are treated as equal, but have a silent group of militants at their disposal in order to enforce the peace on the island.

Having gone through bloodshed to bring tremendous change, they see the Orchestra's feud as a rite of passage, and seek to stay as far away from the battles as possible. However, they are supplying all side of the war with weapons and other supplies, in order to boost the livelihood of their own people.
