The Great Battle
Chapter 1

As I ran through the woods I heard an explosion. I tripped and rolled down the hill landing next to the dead body of a fallen warrior. Bombs went off as screams of pain echoed through the hollow trees. The battle waged on while I hid under the fallen warrior. I couldn’t understand what everyone was fighting for? In the distance I could see a black dot hovering in the sky. As it got closer I could make out a space craft dive bombing the battle field destroying everything in its path. The fallen warrior protected me from the alien attack. I looked over the battle field but saw no survivors.

Exiting from the space craft were strange looking warriors who appeared to walk on two feet. Unlike my green/orange skin coloring their color was pink and they were missing a tail like mine. As more of the creatures came out of the space craft I noticed that they had fur covering their body and four arms. More warriors and creatures than I could count came out of the space craft and checked for survivors. One spotted me, I felt a sharp pain in my chest and looked down to see a small dart. As I started to drift off I thought what could these creatures want from our small planet…..
