Will you, won't you... Alice in Wonderland
One day you go to visit a doctor and they ask you to come back because they think you need some repairs. Getting repairs and removing obstructions in human beings are, for me, majorly energy draining, painful, long in healing, and make me extremely vulnerable. So, I go back and the doctor runs some mind-blowingly painful tests and sits with you (I taught Anatomy & Physiology so I get the precise details) and explains that what they'd seen last year beginning to give way was now indeed caving in and so were two other body parts. (I had a tumor not too long ago and it was removed with a bunch of other body parts it had attached itself to.) Surgery is recommended, but it has to involve two different specialists because two of the repairs are done by one kind of doctor and the third kind takes another specialist. Ah, yes, this surgery, she's sorry to say will not be able to be done through a laparoscope. It will require surgery the old fashioned way. We're going to have to cut you open about ten inches and the other person is going to go in another way. I'm counting incisions and inserted mesh and suturing here and suturing there (8 major suturings, so far...) Ok, I don't want to be a vegetable who can't really move well at all and the writing's been on the wall since that is what I am becoming. When would you like to have the surgery done? Ah, ah ... this summer while I'm trying to take it a little slower approach to my studies/art that are what are my life blood. Well, next week?....... It's just a big mess. I don't know if I will be able to get the surgery to fit in to anyone's schedule, not even mine! I'm just sick of being me. stressed

Keep on doing what you have to, and sometimes, what you have to do, isn't always the best thing to do....I learned that the hard way. But I'm sure you know that already^-^
