Precious Little Time
Some people cuddle close
then turn around and stab you in the heart
some people cheat
then say they didn't just to be with you,
but that doesn't stop your heart from aching
when you know the truth.
They try to erase the things you know,
but its not that easy when you can see
the marks that last forever.
They may realy love you,
but that doesn't change the fact that they hurt you.
And no matter what... I still love the fact
that you were mine for that precious little time.
That precious little time we spent together was magical.
You lifted my spirit and you made me happy
you held my hand and acted like you never wanted to let go.
Then you go and throw it all away
for that one day
With someone other than me.
I was willing to love you forever.
I even gave you my heart.
Then when I got close
You stabbed that heart of mine.
