"What the hell are those things?" I asked, taking a step backward.

"This time they're a combination of Slow Mutants [+1], the Little Sisters of Eluria [+2], and feral demons," Holly replied.

"What?" Nogard asked, growling in the back of her throat.

"They're mutated feral demon vampires," LeRoy said impatiently.

"No one's ******** with their DNA," Holly said. "After god knows how long survivng in certian enviroments, they've just adapted. Don't let any part of them touch you."

"Then how do we kill them?" Nissa asked.

"You've got to pierce their eyes," Holly replied. "And don't let the green lightning that shoots out their eyes hit anyone." [+3]

"And how do you expect us to do that without touching them?" Dragon asked. "Even if I was in my chibi form so I could use my--why are you looking at me like that Holly?"

"I think it's time for you to go chibi," Holly said, closing her eyes for a moment. Opening her eyes, Holly raised her right hand and snapped her fingers.

In a flash of light, I transformed into my chibi form. Only there was something diffrent. My knot top had been replaced by a hooded sweater that closed over my mouth and I had something tied to my waist. Reaching behind me, I felt a katana case. Because I couldn't speak through the hood of the sweater I looked at Holly questionly.

"You have a tail," she replied. "Use it."

Realizing what she meant, I grinned beneath the sweater and nodded. Turning to look at the creatures, I drew the katana with my tail while lowing to all fours. Leaping into the air I drew the attention of the creatures. Leaping back and forth over the room, I stabbed the creatures in the eyes faster than they could move--and they moved like lightning.

The scorch marks in the walls that flew out of the creatures eyes as I stabbed them began to slowly repair as Nissa's nanobots she had built into the walls began to repair the damage. Looking at Holly, I tilted my head to the right and raised my hands while sheathing the katana with my tail.

"I...I'm tired," Holly said, collapsing into LeRoys arms.

What the hell!?! I thought. The girl transformed me somehow and before she will even transform me back she goes to sleep again?!

"With me here, we won't see any of her nightmare creations again," LeRoy said, as though answering an unspoken question. Laying her on the bed; LeRoy looked at me, Nogard, and Nissa challengingly as though he expected any of us to object.

"We aren't going to hurt her," Nissa said. "We'll help protect her."

"I want to know how she transformed Dragon like that," Nogard said, poking my head.

Elbowing Nogard's knee, I attempted to pull the edges of the hood away from my face so that I could speak but they would not budge. Damnit...

Five hours later edit

Pacing up and down next to Holly's bed, I thought When is she going to wake up and remove her spell?

Suddenly, a wolf's muzzle appeared where my mouth had been. Muttering, I said, "Oh well that's lovely..."
