3 Years Later:
It's been nearly 3 years
Since God gave you a new home to go to
A lot has happened since you left
I found the love of my life,
Graduated as valedictorian of my class,
I went up to live together with my beloved.
Later on I found out I'm pregnant,
I just gave birth to a beautiful girl.
Sorrow fills my heart
Because you never got the chance
To meet my beloved or see your great-granddaugther
She looks just like me in every way,
Though I laugh and smile every day
There's still sorrow in my heart
Because I miss you and Nana so much.
So many times I've wanted to call you
But I can't because you no longer live there
Your new home has no number to call
And the only way to enter is for God to invite you
So until the right day comes and God wantes me,
I'll remain here and continue missing you and Nana
