Brendon
You're not hearing things, dude...
Brendon: All in my head! It's the heat, just the heat; it's playing tricks on me and only me, right? Yoh: That's kinda weird if you say it like that... Karen: Brendon, maybe you should rest. Brendon layed down on the couch. he took off his vest and socks. Brendon: Okay. I should. Whisper: Bree.... Brendon: AGH! There it is again!
Brendon's shouts woke up Zack, causing him to cry.
Lena: Nice going; Zack's crying! Go sleep.
After Zack fell asleep, Brendon decided to do the same. But before he could sleep in the bask of the air conditioner, the cool air stopped.
Brendon: Huh? Lena: Looks like the air conditioner broke... Brendon: I bet whatever's bothering me did it. Wait, what am I saying? Yoh: Just shut up, dude; get some rest. Brendon: In this heat? Whisper: Bre....he... Brendon: It's jusst the heat talking! The whisper's not real! Karen: Calm down. The air conditioner unit for the hotel must have burt out; we're probably not the only ones using it.
Whisper: Bren-bren.... Brendon: eek The whisper is calling me. *Whimper* Yoh: stare Dude, the air conditioner's gonna get fixed. The concierges' must have called a repair dude by now. Brenhdon:Yeah... I'll go down to the basement to see if I can help when he comes... Karen: No, you're in no shape to help. Yoh: I'll go with you.
So Brendon and Yoh rode an elevator to the lobby and thr utility elavator to the base ment.
Brendon looked for the conditioner unit right and Yoh left.
Brendon grabbed a flashlight from his pocket. He flashed around and found a large, white tank with blue stripes at the top and botton.
Brendon: Sweet; this is it!I'll just take a peek...
He looked around the back. Whisper: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........
A ball of light appeared before Brendon. Brendon: I'm just seeing things. Maybe it's the fumes here.
The ball of light went closer to Brendon's face, getting faster and faster. Brendon felt a warm tingle from him head going down to his chest. A small, cat-bear-like creature flashed then disappeared, but he saw a cute smile on it's face. Brendon didn't want to know if this was heat stroke or a real ghost, but Brendon didn't care anymore. He ran and ran. He ran until... black.
