pt2
Brendon woke up. He was on the floor of the basement and his head was pounding. He saw Yoh and Amidamaru above him.
Yoh: Brendon?
Brendon: Guh...
Amidamaru: I think he's Ok.
Brendon: W-what happened? I was running from this ball of llight and-and...
Yoh: You hit your head on a low pipe.
Brendon: he he, low pipe.
Yoh: he he he.
Amidamaru: Did you say "A ball of light?"
Brendon: He he he he, "Ball!"
Yoh: *Giggles*
Amidamaru: TThose are hard to pick up, even for he in this heat and in this place; it has a vibe. There may be a ghost in here!
Brendon: No! It's in my head!
Yoh: But how come Brendon was the only one who heard whispers? Hmmm?
Amidamaru: .............uh...........hmm...good question.......
Brendon: Well, thanks to the blow on the head, I think I should try to believe there's a ghost here!
Yoh: You suck, dude.
So that night, Brendon snuck down to the basement. The conditioner unit was fixed that afternoon, so he felt the air and went back to the place where he saw the light.
Brendon: Light? You who! Light! Ball of light!
Whisper: Breee....
The ball of light appeared before him. The ball flew closer to him.
Brendon: Stop whispering to me! It's annoying! Go away!
The ball stood there. Brendon heard crying. Tears ran down the ball.
Brendon: Huh? eek
The ball poofed into white smoke. The smook cleared, trevealing a cute, cat-bear-like creatur, or at leat the head with arms and a tail...
Brenon: Ghost!
Ghost: *Crying*
Brendon wasn't a shaman like Yoh, but he could still talk to ghosts.
Brenon: Listen, I'm sorry. I'm Brendon, who are you?
Ghost: *Snifling* I-I-I-I.....
Brendon: It's OK. I'm your friend. Im sorry I yelled.
Ghost: *snifled* I'm Muriko, I disguised myself as my brother, Uriko.
Brendon: You and your brother?
Muriko: Brothers.
Brenon: Brothers?
Muriko: Guriko, Buriko and baby Zuriko!
A scary ghost with green skin and large fangs appeared. It roared at Brendon, scaring him and making him trip on his own feet. The creater's feet were clawed like it's hands.
Muriko: Guriko! Sorry, Bren-bren. This is Guriko, the oldest. He specializes in scaring people, while I shape-shift!
Muriko poofed into a cloud of smoke. He turned into Brendon and helped the real Brendon up.
Brendon: Thanks.
Muriko: *Poofes to spirit form* Welcome!
Uriko, the ball of light, appeared and hovered around Brendon.
Guriko: Sorry for scaring you, buddy. Hey, Uriko likes you! He sees the good in people!
Uriko stopped and glew blue.
Muriko: That means he likes you and you're a good guy! If it's red, you're a bad guy!
A long, lump, sheet-like ghost appeared.
Ghost: Hello! I'm Buriko! I'm the second oldest and I am the spokes person of us!
A small, cute ghost, smaller than the others, appeared and clinged to Buriko
Buriko: That's Zuriko, the baby. We don't know what he does yet. He clings to whoever is closest. He can barely float yet.
Brendon: Amidamaru!
Ami appeared.
Amidamaru: Yes, Brendon? I heard you from the lobby. Hey, GHOSTS!
Brendon: Told you!
Amidamaru: YOH!
Amidamaru rushed up through the ceiling. A few minuts later, Yoh rushed in riding a coat cart.
Yoh: GHOSTS!!
Brendon: Told you! Everyone thought I was crazy, even me! I was right! I was right!
Yoh: eek
Amidamaru: I understand now! The ghost talked to you! They chose you!
Muriko: Because we watched you take car of your family and save Sunny Kingdome time and again! We've lived here forever, since it was built! We are natural-born ghosts!
Brendon: Ha ha! I told you! Ha ha ha ha ha!
Next Time: Brendon plays with the ghosts, btu outside the hotel something happens.
Next time: Three strikes, you're out
