The morning sun came through the window as kaira arose from her bed. She yawned and put her dagger on her belt. As the cold air came in a breeze as she opened her window. After rubbing her eyes from the dawn light, she walked over to her pack and started to fill it with traveling supplies; food, changes of clothes, a water flask, and other stuff. She tied the bag tight so no dew could get in and make her stuff damp.

With the bag over her shoulder, and her boots on her feet, she walked out of her small house and into the cool morning. She walked to the gate of the city and past the half asleep guards unoticed. She started running when she was sure the guards were asleep and a big enough distance away. She stoped when she was panting and then looked at a small map she had gotten from a shop near her house.

"Now where would the ShadowLord be?...." She remembered the rumors and traced them to somewhere where there were caves and it cold and damp. "Os-Mines???" She said all confused now. Going with the mines as her direction, she traced a path on the map with a pencil a route towards the mines that looked good. "A couple of hours if I keep a good pace." She said then tucked the map in her pocket and started to running again.

Hours passed as she made her way towards the mines. She stoped, panting, at the edge of the mines and walked into the land. Watching around her, she made her way past snikering Granouses and timid lizards. She stoped when she reached the opening of the cave and gulped then walked into the darkness. After lighting a torch she looked around and walked deeper into the caves.

Time passed, and she knew it. It felt like she was in the center by how far she had gone it. She had passed a large clearing where something had been sleeping. As she made her way, she gasped when she saw a man ((Yooooooooooooooooooou)) sleeping on the ground. "Is that the shadowlord? He doesn't look... that though." She put her pack down at the edge of the cave and walked over to the man on the ground slowly, with her dagger drawn. "Hellloooo? S-Shadowlord?"
