Pointing a hand at Nogard, I shot several small ice shards to break the bonds holding her to the ceiling while glaring at both Holly and LeRoy. Landing on her feet, Nogard looked between me and the girl and the lion.

"Anyone got a knife?" Nogard asked quietly. "The tension's a little thick."

"I know their importance," Holly said softly, handing over the Louies. Gesturing to LeRoy to hand over the Dinos, she said, "They were your father's and you've spent all your life searching for them after your planet had been destroyed."

Saying nothing, I took the Dinos and the Louies. As I crossed the Dinos over my back, I realized my muzzle had dissappeared. Looking at Holly, I could see she was swaying a little. Connecting her swaying to the dissappearance of my muzzle, I said, "It's about time...but thank you."

"We cry your pardon for not asking before hand," LeRoy said. "But Holly had insisted, against my objections, that we take them as protection while delivering Fluffy to Koopa."

"Fluffy's with Koopa?" I asked, flicking an ear and raising an eyebrow.

"Yep," Holly said. "I figured she'd need him more than you."

"How--"

"Oh look," Holly said, bending to pick up a piece of paper. Reading it, she muttered something that I could barely understand. Handing it over to me, she signalled to LeRoy to follow her and headed downstairs.

Reading the paper, I followed Holly and was surprised to see she was heading into the basement. Ignoring that for the moment, I turned to Rose and began to ask her a question when Nissa's android form tapped me on the shoulder. "Dragon, can I talk to you a moment upstairs?"

"Sure," I replied. Gesturing for the others to stay put, I followed Nissa upstairs. "What's up?"

"About Wynn," Nissa said as the door to the basement closed with a swish. "I found nothing at all."

"So there's nothing wrong with her? But--"

"No, I found nothing at all. Not a single thing."

"Um, dumb it down for me?"

"Her body has the same chemical make up as Shalimar's, being half neko half dragon, but that's all I found."

"Okay, you're telling me what I already know why?"

"That's the only thing I found. I found nothing else. Not even any signs of any kind life."

"She's dead?"

"No."

"She's alive then."

"No."

"So she's not dead but she's not alive...is she a zombie?"

"I know the life signs of a zombie. Wynn is not a zombie."

"Then what the hell is she?"

"I don't know. We need to see what Chazu and Koopa know."

"No...we need to talk to Lex. Don't say anything to the others yet."
