husband and i found a stray kitten saturday night after hanging out with friends on vrchat. she was so small and looked really hungry so we took her in. she was so sweet and loved cuddles. but we couldn't keep her. we searched for anyone that could take her in but no one had room. we finally found a nearby shelter that could help her find her forever home but we both cried because we couldn't be her home. i miss her so much.
