Game Title: Toodee & Topdee
Platform: Steam
What is it about?: It’s a puzzler/action style game, asking the question… what if you played Mario and Zelda, but at the same time?
What did I think: I thought the it was an interesting concept, switching between the two styles of play to solve the puzzle in each room and get both characters to a space where they can progress. The boss I encountered was a bit difficult initially, but it seems while the game looks like it resets the stage when you die, it keeps your progress, thus not penalizing you too much
Would I continue playing?: Maybe. Initially I was going to say yes, but I haven’t really found a hook that has encouraged me to come back.
