She could hear the faint mumble coming from the tv she forgot to turn off the night before. Slowly raising up on her left elbow, she was surprised at the fact that the movie she had bee nwatching was still on. At the very end, but on. "Must have set the dvd to repeat" she whispered reaching for the remotes. Pressing the power button on the tv remote over and over, made her re call the fact, that for some reason, the most usefull button on that remote-refused to work.
Frustrated, she tossedt he remote some where at her feet, an sat up, yawning. She looked around her room as she did every morning, and sighed at all the junk covering her walls and shelves. Junk she deffinately couldn't even think of getting rid of.
Finally putting her feet over the edge of the bed she stood up, throwing her arms to the sides in attempt to stretch them out. With no success she walked to her closet taking out a random pair of jeans, and grabbing a hoodie. She hadn't realized how cold it was. Glanicing out the window she squinted atthe brightness from all the snow. "Please be the last of the season!" She said, clasping her hands together.
After she got dressed, she opened her door and cautiously walked out. She relaxed as she hit the living room, and slumped down on the couch. No one seemed to be home. Good, that was the way she liked it. Although it was strange on a saturday, there was no one home. She glanced at the clock. 10:00 am. Mom and dad were probably shopping. But where was Rick?
