Back to the very rudiments of humanity we have begun to ponder our origins, our reason to be. Today we live in a world where backwater concepts of God have allowed us to be content with our existence.

What is God? Why do we exist? What happens after we die? These questions are the foundations of religion and philosophy, and invariably these questions come with unacknowledgeable answers to every great thinker. Today we live under the impression that we were created by an unseen being of epic power known as God. Often we are taught of what God is upon obtaining our ability to reason - at a relatively young age. We believe what we are influenced by, and are left to develop our own thoughts upon adolescence. Some remain partial to their early teachings, while some "non-believers" become one with faith when they have nothing left to live for.

There are many variants of God among different cultures. In general, it is a name for what humans believe created the universe and its occupants. Often Man's beliefs of what God is tend to clash with each other. Man lives by his faith, as well as dies by it. We wage wars over speculations. We prosecute those who challenge our Creator. We spill the blood of those who condemn our Father. But has anyone ever considered that every concept of Father our God might be nothing but backwater belief full of empty promises? Of course they have, but none have ever succeeded in explaining the unknowable.

We live under the impression that a place of reward or a place of punishment awaits in the afterlife, depending on the deeds we commit in life. If we perform deeds of greatness and are praised for it, we are rewarded in heaven. If we sin and judged by our misdeeds, we are punished in hell. And yet, the contrast between good and evil are nothing but a biased perspective, no mater how you look at it. There is no such thing as good and bad, because both are essentially the same thing. If anything, heaven and hell are in fact the same concept, depending on how you perceive it. Why should the "sinners" be condemned for being only different?

So is that what our God is then? He judges us by his perspective of good and evil and determines our rightful place for us? Can such a biased being be considered a god? No, that is not God. That is blasphemy. I believe that "God" was created through our own misguidance. Religion was created to explain the inexplicable, and it was necessary for man to reach its current state.

Why do the majority of all religions focus on the afterlife as the ultimate reward or ultimate punishment? Why do they only focus on the afterlife and on how to achieve the best possible? Because death is the only thing that will forever remain unknown and unacknowledgeable. Me, I'm focusing on the here and now. Dwelling too much on what you can do for the future results in a loss of purpose. If any paradise or hell awaits us, it is in this life. We can create a paradise or hell, depending on our actions. But alas, our paradise we desire is nothing but a fantasy. The world we live in now is in fact hell, but not a perfect hell. We can change our hell into a paradise, but not a perfect paradise. Because mankind is not perfect, neither will our actions be.

But this isn't to say that God does not exist. I am not anti-religious, but I'm not one to accept religion so casually either. With the Big Bang theory, universe itself has a possibility of creating everything, and can be considered "God." Because it is unknowable whether God has a will or is merely a fundament bound by scientific law and has no conscienceness, I shall now refer to it as "Creator". If the Creator is indeed nothing more than an inanimate force with no conscience, then we humans may in fact hold more capacity than it, as we have conscience and we have purpose. We ourselves can consider ourselves a unity of gods. We create, as well as destroy. We destroy what the Creator creates, then rebuild it into something else. We destroy it again, and rebuild it.

The unknowable shall forever be, unknowable. That is agnostia.
