revenge is so sweet
sooooo I brought Ferin home today smile she's such a precious little thing *beaming with pride!*. I brought her home but on the way there she was panicking in her little carry-home box and I was afraid she was going to hurt herself because she was climbing the ladder and causing it to fall on her, she'd flap her wings and get them stuck threw the bars, so I decided that it'd be best if I took her out. she sat on me most of the ride home and I petted her and talked to her, trying to calm her down. when I reached home I took her downstairs to try and get her accustomed to her new cage but of course she refused to go in, she'd climb up my shoulders every time I tried putting her on a perch, and when I finally got her on a perch she'd fly onto my head. so I gave up and took her upstairs with me to get her some cream of wheat, and my lord it was like she hadn't eaten in months! she was begging and crying (something she didn't do at sab's house for a long time, we thought she was completely weaned) anyways I feed her a whole bunch of cream of wheat, and I thought she was full but she proceeded to eat half a stick of spray millet and part of an apple piece. I tried putting her in her cage(and succeeded) but when I went upstairs to eat my supper she was whistling and crying (which I expected since she's in a new environment and I’m the only thing that's familiar to her), so I decided that I’d take her upstairs for a shower with me. I washed and stuff in the shower while she stayed on the shower rod grinding her beak away, happy as can be. after that we watched TV while she dried off (didn't want to take her in the basement when she was all wet). anyways she eat more cream of wheat, and an entire stick of spray millet (she was pretty thin so I was happy that she was wanted to eat), then she started flying and of course my other pets were after her, luckily she had the brains to fly to a safe place where only I could reach her. I put her in her cage for "being bad", but of course that didn't last long because I’m a sucker for crying babies, and it is only her first night here...anyways we ended up watching TV until 12, I laid on the couch, she made a nest in my hair and I’m pretty sure she fell asleep because she wasn't her usual talkative self and she'd make these really cute/weird noises every so often. She's in bed now, which is good; she's so tired she didn't even cry for me when I shut the covers. annnnnnnyways, tomorrow I’m gonna take her to the vets for a check up, just to make sure everything’s going ok, and I’ve decided to re-arrange her cage yet again. I think that there's too many perches and stuff in there and that she doesn't have enough room to be...bird like.

the good news is that my brother really likes her. he came down and saw her and I showed him the tricks I was teaching her. she bobs her head back and forth when I say "dance", and she's slowly learning to puff her feathers when I say "pretties". I promised him that I’d show him how she was when it came time to feed her, and that I’d show him her wings when I clip them again tomorrow (he thinks they're pretty...weird). so ya, he's all like "I want a bird, yours is so cool" after I showed him her tricks (step up and step down included), but I said it's a lot of work and he's like oh, but I promised he could see my bird when he wanted if he asked. it's kinda cute actually, he was all scared to touch her cus he thought she was gonna bite him lol. I had to finally force his hand in front of her and show him that she doesn't bite, then he finally decided that he wanted to hold her (for like 5 seconds lol).

in other good news, I got the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship for 2,500$. bad news is I can't keep it since I’m not going to university next year because of health problems, I had to send them an email since they're offices were closed so hopefully they'll get back to me and answer some of the questions I have. in other good news I have over 11, 000 in my university fund (my parents started it when I was young) plus the 7000 in my bank account which will definatly increase once I get a job. to add more goodness to the bundle of joy, my brother also has 11 000 that he can't touch until he graduates and goes off to "higher education", which is very unlikely since he hasn't even passed grade 10 yet. haha...revenge is so sweet, he gets to sit on his a** while 11 000 slips under his arse and into my pocket. *hysterical laughter*.

Anyways it's late and I should go. I’ll probably update again tomorrow with new wonderfully boring news about my bird!
