So my father hasn't always had the best of health. In 1993 he was injuried at work, a cutting blade in machine broke off, flew across the room and struck him in the leg. It sent him back into a wall. It was a pretty severe accident. Later we found out it cracked his spine, and was pretty much the start of his health going down hill. He's had chest pains, back problems, his muscles in his legs didn't heal correctly due to the metal pin placed in his leg being to long.
It's been one problem after another. Though recently, he's had some heart problems. He was put on medication to hopefully correct it. But we found out that it was something that couldn't be helped by medicine. He has a blockage in one of his lower chambers in his heart, that will require a catherization. It's not really a life threatening procedure. My grandmother had it done on herself. But I still felt it warranted a mention.
I haven't seen either of my parents in over a year. So I'm hoping to fly back to see them in October. That is if of course I can get off of work. Here's hoping I'll be able to.
