Okay, so this past day has been stressful. So many accusations and a few bad PMs...it's just.. D< Sometimes all the drama makes me feel like I should quit a particular forum and focus my energies on the others. You know, the porn filled one and the other, much nicer forums. Let me take this time to focus on a subject: Special Treatment. No one gets special treatment. I don't care if you're the most popular person on Gaia. You will get treated the same as everyone else. Hacked? You fill out the form. Standard. Then you WAIT. Scammed? FIll out a form and WAIT. Everyone has to wait. No one cuts in line. No, you cant bribe me. I dont deal with hack/scams. No, you can't bribe omnimoderators. You are not special. Users who go around spreading rumors that "Yeah, hey... this case is getting handled NOW and items will be returned!" No, just no. First, there is no guarantee items ever get returned. Secondly, refer yourself back to the special treatment section above. Im sorry if Im a bit cranky about my situation, but I feel it seems a bit unfair that my words get taken out of context to fit whatever you feel is "your side". When you buy a hacked item and you know it's hacked... yeah you can keep it. But you probably wont keep it forever. You cant sell them, cause that's profitting from a hack. Dont quote me where ever you feel like because I /know/ it will be taken out of context. Try asking me about it first. ~Yuzi

	It sucks. sad The sad thing is, there will always be people like that. No matter how many times you try explaining it to them, they'll keep popping up. If they don't like someone and think their case is being handled, they'll pull the favoritism accusation, but if they liked that person, they wouldn't say anything. It's a lot of hypocrisy. Some people have a hard time of accepting their own mistakes so they will go around pulling excuses or trying to find any way to turn the attention off themselves or to make themselves look innocent. Next thing, they are accusing mods of being unfair, abusing power and all sorts of things. They just cannot be wrong. >.< I have never seen an act of favoritism from moderators on Gaia.. not since 2003 anyway. I think things have changed since then and have been more reasonable and fair when dealing with users in general. Wish I could say things will get better but they won't. There will always be those kind of people on this community. Just remind yourself of the ones that are good and make what you do worthwhile. heart

	Special treatment only comes in real life. When they jump you because they know who you are. Moderators have ninja-status like that, you know. ninja On-site, though...why people believe that, I don't know. They should know that there are others like them who experienced said situations first and that, logically, it'll go in that order. Like waiting in line. Poor Yuzi. sad

	I completely agree with you, Yuz. Just today there was a topic made about helpers (more specifically me being a helper) and how I'm too young to be one, and irresponsibile. Now I know how you guys feel everyday of your lives. Although I love the feeling of helping out, and don't get me wrong, I'm in absolute love with this job, I just feel as though people underestimate us way too much and don't see everything we have to go through. Of course they wouldn't, though. They don't think about all the complications that come along with being a staff member on a site with over 4.5 million members, and only a few moderators to deal with everything. People just need to realize that we have lives too, and we're humans just like them. We have feelings, we have lives, and we have other things going on. We can't baby them, and we can't make exceptions for just one or two users. We have to treat them all the same, and we have to keep a calm attitude whilst doing so. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS WHEN DEALING WITH SOME PEOPLE? xd Wow, it felt good to vent in YOUR journal. xDD
