Steve Irwin died yesterday. He was my childhood hero. I always loved watching his show, seeing him take down snakes, crocs, lizards. He seemed above mortality, like all heroes do. crying I liked to pretend i was in Australia tracking down crocs with him, my dog was often victim to this play. Some people are just to good for this world, their light shines to brightly. The world has lost an angel and is a little darker because of it. The world will remember him as a nature lover, a passionate conservatist, devoted family man and father. My condolences to little Bindi and Bob, to Terri. May Australia's angel rest in peace.
