Soccer Refereeing - I need advice NOW!
I've been refereeing for a few years now but I still struggle with my confidence during games. From the sidelines, it's so easy for a spectator to say, "Look at that ref. He/She's missing everything!" We can't see everything from the center of the field, though. Just after my game today, my mother started pointing out everything I did wrong, even after I started crying. It hadn't helped that I was stuck with the one person in school who goes out of his way to make my life miserable. I finally blew up on my mom and she looked like I had just done her some injustice that she didn't deserve. Please, if there are any soccer referees on this site who read this, I need some advice.
