this, do ya. And hear me, I beg, when I say Holly's time has grown short and she's no longer needed in the story telling. True her end is commala-messy, but she hasn't reached the clearing at the end of the path like other characters I've used and abused.
Holly's PoV
While Xangord was battling the woman-harpy and Nogard was protecting us from anymore green gems, I had Nissa pick up the statue of Dragon and haul it back through the portal.
Looking about, I saw Nogard looking at some little black and white creature. "Come on Nogard! We need to get going!"
Picking up the creature, Nogard followed me though the portal and pulling Xangord after her.
"Xangord, clo--"
Opening my eyes, I saw Lady Eirny shoot a frosty white light at me before a strange purplish-black portal closed. Before it could hit me, Holly stepped in front of the path of the attack. When the light stabbed Holly in the chest, it expanded throughout her whole body; expanding it until the light shone through her skin like cracks in glass. A split second later, she imploded.
I doubt seriously doubt I was the only one who felt like I had imploded at the same time Holly did--judging by the looks on the others faces.
Spotting a woman who looked like me, I asked, "Who are you?"
"A Nobody," the woman said. Without another word, she stepped through another portal.
"I'll explain later," Nissa replied. "Come on, we need to get you home. There are Gwees."
"Kinda light clothing don't you think?" Nogard asked, looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
Looking down at my clothes, I saw Nogard was right. Snapping my fingers, I transformed the clothes I took from Lady Eirny into my usual attire. To Nissa, I said, "Gwees? Here? They haven't done anything bad yet have they?"
"Holly stopped them before they could hurt anyone else," Nissa replied, stepping through the portal.
"Who'd they hurt?" I asked, following her myself. Pausing on the other side of the portal, I said, "Oh hell. My house is a bloody zoo!"
