A fallen angel from the heavens above
Searching for someone to give her love
She cries alone late at night
Shes tired now, cant stand the fight
She wanders along without a friend
Shell be alone until the end
No one to help protect her soul
She feels as though she is not whole
No place where she can be at rest
Her wings are gone she's failed the test
She hasnt found the right one
To save her from the dreadful sun
He follows her, covered in stealth
And watches the decline of her health
He calls to her, she can not hear
She does not know that he is near
She must find him at all cost
But she knows in her heart shes already lost
He tries so hard to help her win
But she would not trust a demon
She thinks that it can not be true
That helping her he would do
His power, his fury makes her scared
And she doesnt know how long hes cared
He can not be the missing part
She does not think he has a heart
How can he? he came from hell
Earth is somewhere he should not dwell
He tries to hold her, she screams and kicks
She knows that it must be a trick
She thinks he must be a pawn
He tries again, his strength is gone
She must now win the battle on her own
Or the light shall not be shone
Hes powerless and there he lies
He watches as she slowly dies
He can not see her in this pain
This punishment is inhumane
She must have done something wrong
To be stuck here for this long
She sits and watches the rain fall
And she finally hears a muffled call
He tells her of her dreadful crime
And says he loves her one last time
Her wings come back, she now can leave
And she thinks of the help she has recieved
No longer does she hate
They know she wont go back this late
She can not go, leave him behind
After he has been this kind
She flies him back and takes him home
And the demon now in light may roam
