The Death of my Favourite Thread.

I'm dying inside, slowly but surely and you might think this is pathetic and childish. You might find it hilarious that I'm so hurt by something which shouldn't be that big of a deal.
But the truth is I've been stabbed in the heart and even now that knife is being twisted.
Perhaps I should explain what happened so that people who have no idea what I'm talking about can understand.
An RP breedable shop on gaia called the Shadows of Africa is an RP based on The Lion King. It is an extremely popular and friendly place filled with dedicated RPers and people I have known for years. The owners are friendly, helpful and so hardworking and their own dedication has helped make this place what it is today! It was my favourite thread, the only place I ever hung out in and now...now I can't even bare to lurk.
An argument broke out about an RP which was both violent, gruesome and disgusting. Basically it was the killing of Mufusa - a character known and loved by most if not all people who have seen the movie. He was brutally attacked had his tail dismembered and marks carved into his body by a pathetic and utterly plotless character called Nyek.
This so-called Nyek became evil despite the fact he had a kind and loving upbringing. The only thing that happened to him was that he was turned down by a girl despite the fact he was a juvenile at the time. His plot involves the raping of lionesses, the stealing of cubs and the pointless murder of innocents. There is no depth to him and he is the official stereotypical character of evil.
Yet somehow this plotless and pathetic character (who has a distinctive pelt of white and pink) managed to sneak into a Pride with 37 adults and 13 adolescents who were quite capable of protecting their lands. Then we have the juveniles who number 8 and the cubs who come to 43!! Now adding that all together we get the grand total of 101 lions.
So a white and pink lion walks by his lonesome into the very heart of the Pride where most of the dens are located. He somehow evades every single member in doing so. He attacks a cub who screams out for help and only Mufusa hears.
Then a fight breaks out between Mufusa and Nyek and no one hears or comes to his aid?
THEN Nyek leaves his mark on his body, rips off Mufusa's tail and leaves the Pride the same way he came in.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SEE THE PROBLEM IN THIS!?
My characters were put into a position where they had to ignore the fight of their king and pretend to not notice. I was forced to have them become stupid, to turn a blind eye to what happened.
THIS my friends is Godmoding and quite simply it disgusts me.
But I blame not only Nyek for this idoicy but for the people who planned and plotted this disgusting RP which makes no sense.
Mufusa may have been a character for one person to roleplay but as he was an FC and an original film character his death should have been handled with dignity and respect.
Why was Nyek in Pridelands?
Why did Nyek have a vendetta against the Pridelands?
The answer? Well I don't know. Maybe he tried to rape a pridelander and the girl told him he wasn't adequately built enough and got him mad. I wouldn't be surprised if that did happen.
People I had grown to like and respect are now lower than scum in my minds. They will not admit that they were wrong, that they godmoded and I am disgusted with them for what they have done.
I will not mention names but you can probably guess who these people are, though some of them you may not since I have chosen not to mention them or their characters here.
When I brought this up in the thread, d'yah know what I got in response? 'They're just characters' Well I don't give a s**t about that. They're not characters. They're s**t characters and they need to be sorted out. I don't give a crap if you have your crappy characters as long as what they do don't affect my plots.
You say you don't have to be involved with Nyek's plot?! But what are we supposed to do if he kills the king of our characters? Just sit back and take it!?
Then, oh ha ha HA! Now this is what really takes the cake. A couple of days later I decide to lurk and lo and behold, in a sig is a picture of our 'infamous Nyek' with an advertisement for more cubs.
Are two breedings/rapings with this guy not enough!? Does he really have to screw over yet more people!? You have no shame, you do not deserve anyone's backing, you do not deserve to be a member of such a nice community. You were quoted once saying 'rape is fun!' 8D !!!111!!
Well let me tell you that if rape was 'fun' then why does it traumatise the women it happens to?! Why does it drive some to suicide?! Why does it drive them so insane that they fail to live normal lives!?
Anyone who says things like that needs help mentally.
And do you know what!?
I'm not the only one who feels this way. People are just afraid of saying how they feel in case they get flamed for it - I did too until recently. Now I don't care because I'm going to stick up for what's right even if it's wrong in the eyes of you.
A fitting quote I think would be, "In an insane world a sane person appears insane."
Then a couple of days later I get people saying to me over AIM.
'Hey you might be able to come back to the thread soon.'
'Why?'
'Cos Nyek is going to be killed off soon.'
Well I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I will NOT be coming back to the thread even after that character is dead. And why?! Well the answer is simple. The character may be gone but the RPer is not and until she apologises for being the b***h that she is I will have nothing to do with the thread.
