It's been a long time but Kim finally went on vacation. Okay so it wasn't very long but that doesn't matter. I had three days of fun with the guy I love and that was a seriously amazing feeling.
We went to Yarmouth via train - it was a four hour train journey! Luckily I had a book and we had some good conversation to fill the time and in all honesty the train journey up was pretty fast and enjoyable.
We arrived at around 2 o-clock and found our hotel. It was a lovely bed and breakfast with lovely people and rooms. Ours was room number 6 and had a lovely view that looked out across the sea. In fact the room was quite modern. The walls were white and there was a pale minty green colour that broke up the whiteness. There was one lovely double bed, a colour tv, an en-suite bathroom and a kettle to make tea! It was pretty much perfect.
Wednesday was spent searching around, we went to the beach and the arcades and basically had a good look around. We had fish and chips for dinner and then headed back for an early night xD !!
Thursday was our most productive day. We went to the sea life centre and though it was quite small it was really enjoyable. I loved seeing the sting rays, they were so cute all coming over to the edge and sticking their noses out of the water. They loved some affection and made me remember my love for those cuties. There were quite a few of them and I got some pretty good footage of them swimming around. The octupus didn't want to show itself but we got a nice view of a huge sea turtle and some seahorses which were both soooo cuteee~
The best part about it was the sharks though, there were loads all swimming around in a huge tank and it was made so you could walk through a tunnel which meant you could watch them swim above you. It was seriously amazing! Sharks will forever remain one of my favourite sea animals, and being able to watch them swim so gracefully was a joy!
Then next we hit the reptile house 'Amazonia' and that was tottally awesome. The place was filled with aligators, but the very first reptile we saw was a personal favourite of mine. A blue-tongue skink! He was so cute and smooth looking that I wanted to take him home, but alas, I couldn't!
to be continued....
