Fullmetal Alchemist: Old Wounds Resurface
This is a really good story I found on www.fanfiction.net by Chi Yomomotou, it's not mine but I thought is was really good.
Chapter 6
Kuro slammed the door to her room. She couldn’t believe what Izumi had suggested her doing if she had successfully transmuted her mother. Tears of rage cut down her face as if cutting her down. Exhausted, she collapsed onto her bed and allowed the darkness to take her mind away. She wished to never return.

Izumi walked in after Kuro ran to her room. She looked up at Sig, sadness filled in her eyes. Ed and Al stood from their seats and looked at her with understanding. “She’s an emotional one; Kuro,” she said wearily.

“Sensei—what happened?” asked Ed. “She ran to her room and slammed the door without saying a word.”

“I told her about how a Homunculus is created, nothing more,” answered Izumi.

“We now know that she attempted a human transmutation,” said Al. “—On her mother.”

“Al—“ began Izumi. She stopped, hearing Kuro scream. “Kuro—you two stay here.” Izumi ran to the door of Kuro’s room. She stopped and listened.

“Mother—what are you doing here?” asked Kuro. “Didn’t you here Sensei? I’m supposed to kill you.”

“Do you always obey what is told to you?”

“No—but I created you,” answered Kuro coldly. “You are a sin of my actions against alchemy. “Kio disappeared trying to bring you back. As a sister, I should want to avenge his death, but I can’t kill anyone. No matter if you’re a Homunculus.”

“Kuro, get the Elric brothers to use the stone before she can.”

“Who is she?” asked Kuro.

“The one that found me shortly after you created me.”

“Why do you want Ed and Al to use this stone?”

“Because, she won’t turn us Homunculi into humans.”

“Mother—“

Izumi kicked the door open. She saw Kuro alone on her hands and knees, crying. “Is everything alright, Kuro?” she asked kindly. “I heard you scream.”

“I’m fine,” answered Kuro stiffly. She staggered upright and looked away from Izumi.

“By what you show me, you are anything but fine,” said Izumi. “Kuro—did the Homunculus you created show itself?”

“You listened in!” cried Kuro, outraged at the trust she had lost for Izumi.

“You should never face any of the Homunculi yourself,” advised Izumi. She walked forward to Kuro and placed a comforting hand on the teen’s shoulder. “Kuro, I want you to be careful.”

“I don’t need you to worry about me, Sensei,” said Kuro stiffly. Though she didn’t brush away Izumi’s hand, she wiped away further tears.

“You aren’t alone,” whispered Izumi.
