Made by Kubo Tite, this series picked up a strong fanbase but was canceled after 4 volumes, at a not-so-good place to end. Thereafter, he made Bleach, which has obviously been more successful... but I've always had a special place for Zombie Powder.
I bought the first volume the INSTANT it came out in English.... I would have bought it in Japanese at Kinokuniya, but they didn't have volume 1, and I didnt' want to have 2-4 in Japanese without the first one.
