My Dad Went Face First Into a Truck On His Bike My Dad was in a motorcycle accident last night. He went face first int othe driverside door of a pickup truck. The lady in the truck pulled out in front of him. I am still shooken... It was painful to see my dad layign there o nthe hospitol bed with a bloody face. Blood all his face and cloths.... here is the article from Theday.com the website for a local newspaper. "Norwich — A motorcycle driver was taken to The William W. Backus Hospital Monday night after a minor accident on Route 97, Taftville-Occum Road, officials said. The Taftville Fire Department and Norwich police went to the scene of a collision between the motorcycle and a car about 7:40 p.m. Police said the motorcycle was headed north on Taftville-Occum Road when it was struck by the car, which was exiting a private driveway. Neither driver was identified and no charges were filed as of Monday night. Police said the motorcyclist sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured, a fire official said. Fire officials said the road was closed for about 20 minutes. " Im so glad he is ok. I mean he is very strongly built. but face first into the driver side door of a pick-up truck on his bike.

	I thank you all for your concern he is doing better, he is still beat up but we have been reimbersed 13grand for the bike but it was bought for 17k in cash so we lost but the bikes frame was bent so that means it was totaled and he has a cast on his arm he can drive but he has that and other injuries that make him not be able to go to work but he is always going out places and he is doing a lot better but he is still messed up. I really appreaciate the concern, i cant express my gratitude.

	He has a new bike now he just brought home today he can ride he doinga hell of a lot better than he was !!!!!
