Yeah, so.....Today was _____ Festival Day!! biggrin I went down on my bike around 10:15 AM, about 15-20 minutes before the parade. I saw a few of my friends, but they all were hanging out with people I didn't know, so I wandered some more. I ended up watching the parade with my parents. I talked to one of my friends from Math Team until the Marching Band came. Since I was in the Marching Band last year, I wanted to see how many new people there were. Plus, it was the first time in three years I got to watch them perform. Anyway, they were really good, as was the rest of the parade. Afterwards, I wandered some more, until I was nearly knocked over by Juna. xd I hung out with her and Blackbyrd for the rest of the day. First we played with plastic swords with Freshmen and Junior High Schoolers. (In otherwords, people way younger than us) Blah, blah, blah... an hour or two went by...Blackbyrd and I had some good luck come our way (and that's all I'm going to say about that..)...Then! We got these huge pixi stix we got to make ourselves!! That was fun. Then we wandered for a another hour or two.

Anyway, you're probably wondering by know what's the relation between all of this and the title. So here it goes: We decieded to leave, so Juna went to the Corner Store to get some real food Blackbyrd was around somewhere behind us and I went to got get my bike. As I was undoing the bike chain, I heard several loud popping noises. At first I thought it might be one of the guns or cannons that have been firing off all afternoon, but then I realized it was coming from the wrong direction, from the Corner Store. So I look up, and I see the top of a tree that's falling down. It wasn't falling in the direction of the store however, but towards the house next to it. Since I finished with my bike, I got up and walked it down to the sidewalk. There was this huge fricken half-a-tree lying on top of the power lines!! I was able to walk by it on the other side of the road over to where Juna and Blackbyrd was standing. It turns out that Blackbyrd was right underneath the tree when it started falling! If the power lines hadn't been there it would have fallen on her. eek Freaky! Anyway, it was kind of funny (don't hurt me!) because Blackbyrd said there was some old guy infront of her that ran away faster than she did!! lol *hides from Blackbyrd* Anyway, that's my story.
