Egotistical Moose, Mori Bokusochi, Bullet Rift, and Insomnesiac all went single file into a small confrence room where IHD, Zaeyde, Inasanemonkey, and Bellecat were already seated. Everyone in the room shuffled through the papers already placed on the desks and then the room was dead silent.
One voice echoed through the room. That of Zaeyde. "Let's begin the meeting now."
"For the further advancement of our alliance, who do we kill?" IHD folded her hands, putting her arms on the table to prop up her head.
Bullet Rift was quick to reply. "`Nymphie has been a real pain in the past for finding the killers quickly. She's a high risk target."
"Let's hold that off for now. More importantly, which one of us is the Sniper? That way we may know to hire a G-Team to become a part of our alliance for protecting them for being the 'News Reporter'? I'm sure those losers aren't smart enough to figure out we're lying to protect a killer." Egotistical Moose was as cynical as ever.
"EXCUSE ME?" Mori stood up slamming his hands on the table. "They wouldn't believe it! They know I'm the newsreporter."
The room went silent again. "..."
"...s**t." was Mori's last word. A shot rang out through one of the air conditioning vents. Mori slumped over, falling onto the papers, leaking on the table. Bellecat proceded over to check his pulse.
"He's dead. ...Moron."
Ego looked over, unphased. "We're gonna need to get the table cleaned, aren't we?"
The group quickly headed out the door, up the stairs and to the ceiling above the air conditioning vent where the shot was fired from. A utility closet. Nice. They bust down the door, but the Sniper was already gone. All that remained was a note:
"If am never revealed, I am never found. But reveal yourself, and there's a burial ground."
