Patient Background: She lead a pretty normal life until she was about eight. Her father started to beat her about 5 months into her 8th year. She had been sent to the emergency room many times for injuries he had caused her. Three weeks after being sent home from the hospital for a fractured skull, her father, in an alcoholic rage, killed her mother right before her very eyes. The cops hauled Nina's father away to prison where he was to get the death penalty. From then on Nina was passed from foster home to foster home because she was " cold." She wouldn't open up to anyone. By the time she was 17, she had gone through 15 foster homes and nobody wanted her. She was then shipped off to Hollow creek. After arriving at Hollow Creek, she did start to talk, just not about her life. Something in her had snapped and she wanted a friend. When she talked, she usually was asking the other person questions while skimping out on their questions. She tries to let out her personality with her humor and sarcasm, but it is taken the wrong way often.

Recent events leading up to hospital admission:She locked herself in her "room." She wouldn't come out and her foster parents were getting angry. She always just seemed cold. She NEVER said anything. They had hoped they could break her of this and get her to say what had been troubling her all these years. With no such luck, they sent her away. They tried foster care first, but nobody wanted the " cold, mute girl" as people called her. The "agency" sent her to Hollow Creek as a last resort.
Patient beliefs about condition:She thinks that she is perfectly normal with just a few horrible memories she is trying to allude.
Intended Condition: They say she is paranoid because she won't get close to anyone. They also say that she has a extreme case of bipolar/depression disorder. While she may come off harmless most of the time, the staff believes that she is conspiring to get revenge on them all. They " sentenced" her to therapy and anger management saying that she was a very angry child. Overall, they aren't sure what all is wrong with her, because she won't talk to anyone about her life.
