Isnt it interesting that what we think is reality is just something of our imagination? That our eyes can play tricks on us? It's really amazing what we can fool ourselves into really believeing. There are many times that I wonder if what we think is reality is just a dream... that we think we're awake but we're really asleep and that all of our reality as we know it is nothing more than a dream. Just something that I like to ponder when there's nothing else to think about.
On that note... I'm thinking about going to Texas for 3 days to see a friend of mine before she leaves for Iraq. She will be gone for 18 months so if I'm going to see her, I'd rather it be now than then. I think it would be good for me to get out of this "wonderful" state. Sometimes there's just too much going on here and I think I need to get away. It's something that's still just talk but I the longer I think about it the more I think I need to make it real and get the hell out of here for awhile. I'll miss my wife but she's very supportive of me going and hanging out with a friend and just having a change of pace. I'll figure it out more in the next few days. I dont have a lot of time to get all the details together but I'll do it; I always do.
