Exchanging Tips

Exchanging, Is one of the best ways of making gold on gaia. I have figured this out from one of my friends and it has helped me out a huge deal. When you really get into it, You can make up to 30k (oh, When You start getting a lot of gold, You can get up to 3ooks XD...) in one night! Thats a lot of gold to get in one night :3. Now, Im going to go straight into the tips ^_^
1/ Buy in the exchange and sell in the Marketplace!!!! The exchange is for quick sells that the buyers just want to get rid of... In the Marketplace, People sell slower, but get more in the end.
2/ Never, ever, ever buy something in the exchange for more Than the lowest Market place price. Never. EVA!!! Ok?
3/ Scammers. Expect to get a lot of these when you Have good items in your vends. 99.999% of the time when someone offers you a item worth 10x more than what your selling, its a scam... sadly D'x
4/ Bulk is Better. If you see a thread that is "Selling 240 Sealeds" Or "50 Dark halos" Go and offer on a great deal. Say, the D-halo is 35k, you want to buy 10. 350k is the total, offer 300k and haggle. Who knows? you might get one for free when the seller doesnt realise ;D
5/ Buy DONATION items. Trash, fish, event items are really hard to sell... So dont buy them Dx. Also watch out for new donation items.They start off at 10+ but slowly deflate to 8k. (Usually)
6/ Remember what time of year it is. Say, Christmas, colors are red and green. People want Christmas avvies. The chyaku norisu Scarf stayed at 27k for 6 months! When November rolled in it skyrocketed to 40k. Coincidence? I dont think so.
7/ Popular items are the way to go. Currently, I know that D-halos and Cn Scarves are really popular. As well as Ancient Katanas.
8/ Dont be afraid to walk away from a deal. If he gets to close to the mp price, bail. Either that or lose some gold Dx
9/ Constantly check the mp. I cant stress this enough.
10/ The more exspensive the item is, the harder it is to sell, BUT! People sell it for less. Like the Golden laurels. I managed to buy them for 260k, when in the Vend they were worth 300k. I put them in my vend overnight, and voila! I made 40k ^^
11/ Most people know this but if you have something in the Market place for 1000 gold, Just put it to 999... Its an optic. SOmetimes it just looks waaaay cheaper than what its worth when its only 1 gold
12/ The only times you should Buy in the vend is when you bid, Buy mispriced items, or Buying items that you plan to hold on to in case of inflation.
