Part three
Later - a war at the Lu-Bu was started from a rival guild. They fought day in and out. Kiratayou knew this was no sutable home for her cubs to say - they could get severely hurt. But her brother had a brillian idea, a passion, and a way to esacpe from it all.
Mirishi started his own dojo - The Branch - and had her helpin him run it. It was their dojo to run however they like. Soon, Mirishi put in a request to have the dojo's linked, and it a matter of months, they two dojos were like born brothers. Kiratayou moved again to this new dojo where her cubs were a bit more safe from the war currently going on.
Finally X returned - and saw Kira with the cubs at the new dojo. He was around more often now - helping her hunt and take care of the two. They were indeed Siberian Tiger Cubs and only 1/4 human. Tirikou was white with black stripes - and Ame was a rare black with grey stripes. As Tirikou grew of age - about half a year, X started showing up less and less - and finally, Kiratayou got a brain and let him go. He wasn't helping take care of the cubs any longer - and she wouldn't take it.
The Lu-Bu was now a little less crowded, a little more safe, and now a second home to her - seeing as she lived round clock at the Branch. It was in the middle of a forest - where the Lu-Bu could be seen off in the distance if on the tallest oak tree. Many new friends she made ehre help her remind herself that she was loved, no matter how powerful or isnane or crazy she was at times.
Again - Kiratayou was ready for more, and so was Tirikou. He neded to be out in the open, but refused to let him go 'home' to her tiger demon tribe just yet. She now moved to the White Kitsune Clan - where she stayed at the Branch a little less. Still visiting often though, Mirishi was kind enough to keep a room for her. The real reason she moved was she eneded to get away from teh dojo for a bit - she needed a little outdoor time - since her mother, who was immortal, passed on. She (her mother) just couldn't hold on any longer. A whoping age of 5,097 - she died peacefully in her bed at the dojo. She had been given a letter by her mother - which she placed under he pillow beofre she died. And thats when it all started happening.
Mirishi started acting weirder than normal - considering he was a goofball to start out with. Its almost like he twictched everytime Kiratayou said 'brother' to him. She wanted to figure it out so badly - it was eating her from inside. But she didn't know how she would find out. Not yet.
Ignoring that - back to the Kitsune Clan. While there she was severely wounded. She was fixed up by another good friend there.. Silver. When she entered her house there was a small fox/human pup there. I asked her if he was hers, and responded with a firm no. She spent a long time with this pup - going hunting following hi, seeng what he ate - an always kept a close eyes on him. SHe soon found out that he was the only survivor left or a horrible battle. And he wasn't even a year old!! Kiratayou felt so horrible for him - and like that he was still young and was curious - by always getting into trouble, - and took him in. But - seeing Mirishi STILL weird - it was time to take action.
-Kiratayou strolled into her hut/room and slid her fingers underneath her pillow. Out she pulled a small envelope, sealed with a paw print - a distinguising one - that of her mothers. On the front it read very clearly not to open until she felt she was ready - and over the age for 22. Clearly, both was apparent, for Mirishi had been acting strangly now after their mother's unavoidable death - every time she called him 'brother.' The two of them now had no parents - but was Kiratayou really apart of it?-
-She carefully examined the letter - front, back, corners, how it was sealed...everything. After fully looking it over, she took one nail on her hand, extended her claw and slid it under the triangular flap. She poped it open and carefully retracted her nail - then took out the letter.-
-It was writen in curvy lettering. She carefully read it. She started crying as she moved to page two. The letter was as follows:-
"My dear Kiratayou -
As a guess, I'm thinking this is after I'm dead. I must tell you something important thats been haunting me ever since I had to tell Mirishi. I'm also betting he's been acting strange. I'm sorry for that, and all this - including what I'm about to inform you.
We took you in at a young age - meaning your 'father' , myself and Mirishi, meaning - you aren't blood related to any of us. As you might have figure out also - Mirishi isn't younger than you. Hes about one year older infact - about 24. You were helpless in the demon tribe - all three of us knew your struggle.
Honey I'm sorry about this all. Mirishi's had a tough time keeping it from you - specially since you're not his sister. On top of that - And I hate to put more pressure on you...but I was the one who caused you're first two cubs' deaths. They found out form Mirishi at a very young age. As you know, secrets stick to anything - and I was afraid you'd find out while you were still too young. You were 18 when you had Shikou and Zato!!
Kiratayou I hopw its in you're heart to forgive us all.
Love - Your Mom forever."
-Kiratayou drenched the paper in tears. Carefully she tuched the letter back inside the envelope and back under her pillow. What did this all mean? Was it true? Was Mirishi really not her brother? Was she a total orphan? Then it hit her. Kiratayou's not wanted. In her mind she thinks that no one in the world cares for her. Long and hard she thought about horrible things - while more and more minuets ticked by.-
-She sat on the ground and cried harder. She brought her knees to her chest and layed her head upon it. Mirishi had lied to her...but was it for her own good? Now thinking about it more - She thought that since he was more responsible, she could help her take care of the cubs. But Kiratayou wouldn't push her luck. She doubted he would take on the job - 'specially after adopting in Spike. She didn't care. She was going to raise her children like she would have no matter what happened. Kiratayou just hoped that she would trust Mirishi again...-
And yes it was true - Mirishi was not her brother.
