Installment Four
Okay, now, I've stoped calling them chapters, for they aren't really chapters, they are installments, but I like this next one, it explains some stuff, some anyway! mrgreen It's a good idea to leave them wanting more! If they want any at all! Well, I'll stop blabbing and let you see for yourself if you like it, here you go!

The sky of pre-dawn was dark, and lifeless aside from a few scattering of stars. Anjay looked longingly from her window, waiting intently for the sun to show her smiling face. Then, gradually, without her even realizing it was happening, dawn silently crept in. All of a sudden, Anjay saw the beautiful tints and hues of the sky. It was poetry in nature. The beauty of it all startled Anjay, and confused her. How could it go from such a limp, lifeless color at the top of her window, to the most subtle and astounding orange tint at the bottom of her window? She went through the whole sky slowly, noting the nuances and where they happened. First, there was a deep dark navy blue, with a scattering of random stars. It then gradually changed into a lighter blue, with a certain life to it. After that, there was the most expressive and outgoing green she had ever seen. It was light and pale, with much yellow mixed into it. The green seemed to speak for the whole of the sunrise, giving life to this pale desolate wasteland called planet earth. Finally, at the very edge of the world, where land and heavens meet, there was the tiniest bit of the most amazing orange hue she had ever seen. This, is why Anjay got up early every Saturday morning. As she sat there, she remembered conversations she used to have with her dad. She pressed her side into the window, leaning her head against the pane and resting her bar arm on the glass. As she stared into space daydreaming, the cold crept through her body. At first the piercing chill spread through out her cheek in about the size of a hand on her face. The icy frost touching her arm soon bleed it’s way through her whole body though. Slowly creeping from cell to cell, like bacteria or a virus. Eventually Anjay was chilled down to the bone with dropping eyes. She looked outside and saw that the sun almost clearing the scattering of trees, realizing that it was time to go back to bed. Anjay stood up stiffly, her cold muscles sore. She stretched for a second before her tired nerves noticed the frozen ground touching her bare feet. She bounded across her stone floor of her attic bedroom to her bed, and jumped in. The old lumpy mattress protested a little, but finally gave in and she settled herself comfortably under the blankets. As soon as her head hit the pillow and her eyelids snapped shut she was asleep again, leaving her susceptible to dreaming. Anjays eyes rapidly darted from side to side as once again, the horrible nightmare unfolded in her subconscious. It started out the same every time. A beautiful little princess in her magic castle.
The girls chest rose and fell softly. Her eyes lightly shut as she dreamed of wonderful things. Things like playing outside, and singing with her best friend. Simply having a fantastic time. Then, the pounding feet on the stairs, and in burst the prince, her best friend in the world. He came and gently shook her, until she opened her eyes drearily and a soft smile spread across her soft pink lips. Her golden hair shone in the moonlight and her baby blue eyes smiled with a twinkle. She rubbed her eyes, and stretched her arms, and asked “Yes my prince?” As he looked at her, he had a soft smile on his face, but his dark gray eyes held a serious gaze, almost sad. “Ah, my beautiful princess, I am going on a journey, and I was hoping you might like to come with me. It will be a long journey, so if you come, you must bring everything you would ever need or want.” There was a melancholy tone to his voice, and the princess frowned slightly. But, this was the love of her life, her prince in shining armor, she would do anything for him. “Of course I’ll come.” she whispered quietly, still drowsy with sleep. “Wonderful, I’ll help you pack, you get your toys and I’ll get your clothes!” So her prince rushed around the room, and put everything into a giant sack. She collected her most prized possessions and carried them out to the carriage. She put down her pillows and laid her doll’s head on them. She then threw her blankets in on top of the pile. She pushed some of her other, less important toys under the seat quickly. Something told her that she needed to rush. All of a sudden, she realized she wasn’t wearing her locket, her beloved silver locket. Her prince had given it to her the day that she was born, and she always had it, she needed it. She rushed up the main stairway and dashed to her room, but she didn’t realize that her prince was going down the back stairs. She grabbed her jewelry box and thrust it open, the little ballerina twirled and the song tinkled into the still air. She threw her hand into the box and groped for the locket. Ten seconds later she had it in hand and was speeding outside. Just as she opened the door, the car started up. She ran faster and faster, but the car pulled out of the driveway, her prince seeing the sleeping doll and thinking it was his princess. She ran after it, going up the steep hill she lived at the bottom of. The black night made the tail lights look like two evil eyes, glowing devil red, and she heard the maniacal laughter as the contraption drove off into the night. It appeared as though it was flying of into the distance, taking him away into the sky. The little princess soon collapsed from running, long after the car was gone from her sight. She fell down on the ground, the cold asphalt piercing every part of her tiny body. The locket dropped from her tiny seven year old hand as she shivered. All she could do was cry, and whimper one single word, “Daddy….”.

There we go! Well, I am going to see if I can do ANYTHING in the snow before it melts, I will be back to writing later my chickies! Buh-bye now!
