Heh, guess I neglected the journal again. This is the last week of the semester, and I only have one exam left. It feels worryingly a short time since I made that last entry. I don't really know if a lot has changed. My dad was supposed to go into hospital last weekend to get an operation on his heel (It's getting a bit dodgy), but his blood pressure was too high. On Monday my sister did a prelim in maths; they're trying to get quite a few people to do the maths exam a year early. I dunno if that's a good idea, though. It could put too much pressure on some of them. Someow I feel slightly responsible though; but then again I'm sure more people will want to do the exams early too since they've seen others do it, and be able to get more qualifications. I know if I had been given the chance to do maths a year early I would have, but I only did German. I quite miss my school, and hometown in general. At first it seemed like nothing had changed, but recently it sounds like things haven't been that great. I'd heard that someone had died in a motorbike accident a few weekends ago, from my sisters. Apparently this guy's brother is also paralyzed from the neck down from a different motorbike accident... and I also heard that my old English teacher had crashed off the side of the road, and no one had found her until 4 in the afternoon (She teaches at another school now, so it was proably about 8:30 that the accident happened. The school phoned her mobile, and didn't do anything further when she didn't answer.). I'd also heard that someone who had been in my school year had been arrested for carrying a knife around with him too... It seems crazy that things like that could be going on in my little town. I'd like to think I've matured a bit since being here at university. I'm certainly ready to be 18 though, especially so as pretty much everyone else already is 18 or older. domokun
My exams so far seem to have gone pretty well. I answered all that I need to in the chemistry exam, though there's a few things that I'm certain weren't right. Friday's maths exam was pretty well, I can't think of anything that was especially wrong (Except having to use partial fractions 10 times, only to find that the answer is 0! scream ) and today's exam was fairly good too. I couldn't think what to do for the last question at the time though.
