At the current rate of progress, 75% of the world should be overcome with cuteness by the end of 2005. At this time, the President of the Baaaaaby Animal Council (currently an adorable little turtle named Stanley) will declare that baaaaaaaby animals rule the earth, and they will rise up and enslave the human beings of the world. They will be cruel and merciless taskmasters, forcing us to work in the kibble mines or just eating us on a whim (or, God forbid, just toying with us until we die, then burying us under the porch). Fear not, however, for we won't mind this torturous labor because wookit the widdle nose! Your only hope is that your master hurries up and grows older, forcing him out of the realm of baaaaaaaby animal taskmaster and into the world of baaaaaaby animal parent (it's kind of like Menudo).
As President of ED-Pol, I would:
* Keep ED-Politics members updated on the spread of our impending enslavement by our cute, furry overlords.
* Work to make sure that the forum rules were followed
* Convince ED-Pol mods to allow a sticky listing of fact-checking sites and trusted news organization
* Get do the same for the best opinion blogs
* Smack down P1 whenever he attempts a coup
* Poll to see if the ED-Pols members would be interested in either a bicameral or unicameral system as well as a presidency.
* In general, work to make ED-Politics a better place in the short time we have left as free, thinking beings.
The deadly cuteness is everywhere!
