Welcome to the MMORPG GaiaOnline! You'll find that not only are the monsters hard to battle, but your fellow Gaians can be pretty rough! Here on GaiaOnline, you can fight monsters, each other, enter in the Arenas for all sorts of beauty competition, chat with friends and become close to your GaiaGuardian! Now, get online and start having some fun.

Every person may choose to be a Guardian or a Gaian. When you first open the game, you must choose to be a Gaian or Guardian.
No one may have more than one Guardian.

Too bad the admins and creators never thought their little "incident" with Randphane966 would cause such a problem. Now, Gaia is over-run with people infected by the n00bis virus.


The History of Gaia

It has been told for generations that The True Gaia Guardians will always protect the world of Gaia.

Long ago, an evil man named Randphane was powerful and very influential in the world of Gaia. He started a war between political powers. It was destroying the land, the homes and the Gaian's hopes. It seemed that there would be no way to stop this war. But, finally, The True Gaia Guardians were discovered. Marked by their Guardians being opposite genders. Othello - a great-but-wise fire magician with his Guardian Althea (a beautiful white cat). And, Rohan - a powerful and level headed warrior with his Guardian Maeve (an intellegent and quick-witted pixie). They mangaged to uncover Randphane's deception and evil plans to betray both sides. Randphane swore that even though he failed, his legacy and evil will live on. He vanished without a trace.
But, with the war ended and peace restored, the Guardians of Othello and Rohan were gifted with something very special...

While this is the true history of Gaia, no one believes it to be truth in this day and age. It's just a fairy tale. That is... They always thought that, until now.

Gaians are being plaugued by a virus. N00bis. In it's early stages, it is nothing harmful, but it can be so deadly that the later stage symptoms are almost unspeakable.
While many are still in denial of The True Gaia Guardians, many hope that they will come and save us all.

Writer notes. You shouldn't be reading this. XD When the game was early on in Beta form (back when it was Go-Gaia), Randphane was the creator along with his Sister (who was the one to help The True Gaia Guardians to defeat Rand). His sister (who is unknown) was the one to create the "glitch" in the system that is The True Gaia Guardians. There's a "temple" that keeps the "spirit" of his sister, but it never reaveals itself to anyone other than The True Gaia Guardians.

Lanzer was the account of a newb, barely fitting the game age limit, but he died leaving the account open. Randphane took the account a few years later. He took on a false-nice personality and eventually worked his way up to the new admin. However, sometimes he hears this "electronic voice" that will not let him do evil things. (Spirit of the boy!)


What are GaiaGuardians?
GaiaGuardians are an animal, shadow, robot or other "living" thing that becomes your "eternal partner." It follows you around, helping you in battle. Battle help can be anything from attacks, magic attacks or increase in stats. You both are partners in this world. While the Gardian must obey the Gaian, you each have half of the other's power. You can exchange this power freely. The power you echange, stat points and magic/physical attack strength all depends on your bond with your Guardian. They may choose to Guard you in a hard battle where your life comes into question. But, again, this all depends on your bond between you and your Guardian.
