It was the middle of the night... Or at least it seemed that way; it's so hard to tell when you?re in space. Anyway, it was about the time most people go to bed, but most of the crew of the Starship........Butch were on the bridge. Except for the captain and doctor.
For some reason, Mia and Riku were talking about something out in the hall. It doesn't matter what they were talking about originally, just now.

They had just finished saying something and Riku was about to walk off when Mia called "Wait!"
He stopped, thinking there was something death defyingly.... deathly.
She walked up behind him and hugged him from behind. "Huh?!" He said.
"Every time I think of you my heart just flutters." She said, holding him closer. "It's like a constant buzz through my head, it won't stop and I don't want it to. My heart lifts every time I hear you voice."
She leaned her head against his back.
He was just plain freaked.

"Huh?!!" He said again, this time with wide eyes. He thought, "Is she totally digging me?" as he peered back toward her. "Ummm."

Meanwhile she continued her speech.
"When I'm around you, it's hard to breath, hard to think, and...."
She paused for a moment. "And when I'm near you... my body reacts in the strangest ways. Heating up, and wanting to move closer...Like this."
She moved her body closer to his, pulling in as close as she could.
And then....

"Captain!" Kiron's voice came over the loud speaker. Wow, Kiron's voice, how rare. Someone should recor- No, wait never mind.
"Captain, we're flying into an asteroid field. You may wanna come check it out."

..................... Silence .....................
For a moment they didn't do anything, then....
"You probably should head to your room." Riku said, as he pulled away from Mia. "I'll tell the other girls to head to theirs too." And so he walked off.
And Mia thought... "But there's only one other girl."

Meanwhile.....
On the bridge, the boys where all together working on the problem.
"Reiya, head to bed." Riku said on the way in. She left the bridge.
The boys continued working.

Elsewhere, which is also to mean meanwhile, which means its yet ANOTHER scene.
Mia was walking toward her room when she noticed she was in front of the captain?s room. She stopped in front of it and turned to look at the door. It was very metallic. She stood in front of it for a few seconds and decided to open the door.
WRRR.
The door opened. She looked inside, peeking, then entering.
She looked around, taking in the sights. A room with dark paint, little tools around the room, a picture maybe.... Butch the squirrel sat in a cage near the bed, right next to a hanging forest green coat. There was also a cushy bed.
She went straight toward the bed.

Back on the bridge....
"So, how old is your son now?"
"About a year and a half."
"Hmm."
The scene, the bridge. Cast: Kiron sitting a bit off to the side, driving them out of what was left of the asteroids. They'd made it safely through most of them.
Riku was asking Ricky about his family, Ricky was talking about it.
"So, what was your son's name again?" Riku asked.
"Colin..." Ricky looked at Riku with an unsure expression. "You don't think he's lonely, do you? I mean, since I left him with my parents to travel with you guys..."
"I don't think so." Riku replied. "My dad was out a lot too. Look how I turned out!"
The room went dead silent...... Kiron snickered.
"Okay then, wise guy." Riku turned to Kiron. "What do you have to say on the matter?"
Oh, Kiron almost scowled. "All I can say is that he better not go looking for him. He'll be painfully disappointed when he finds him."
The others eyes went wide, they listened intently, expecting Kiron to say more.

But you won't get to see that cause we're changing scenes.
Mia was lying on Riku's bed, rolling like a little kitty on a high.
"Oh, Riku. Everywhere around me I can smell you, I can feel your presence in your belongings, I can taste your breath on your pillows, I can taste your droo.......... Oh, Riku!"
She was hugging and kissing the bedding in a most erotic way, shouting out praises of ecstasy of some kind toward the room.

As she was doing this Reiya walked by the room as she headed to her own. At first she ignored the room, but she cocked an eyebrow as her mind registered what she just heard and saw. Her eyes widened, she walked backward toward the room and looked in.
"Mia." She said, as Mia froze in place. "What are you doing?"
Mia just stared, like a deer in headlights. "Umm. Routine medical check?"
"Oh." Reiya still looked bewildered. "Okay..... Goodnight."
"G- goodnight."
Reiya started to walk off, and Mia felt it was safe to continue what she was doing. But then.... Reiya peeked back into the room.
"Um, Mia?" Mia froze again. Maybe...Maybe you should get under the covers at least."
"Uh...Sure." Mia replied, with a wide grin. Mia climbed under the covers.
"Um... Did you want me to shut the door?" Mia nodded. Reiya shut the door and walked off, still freaked.

Mia decided it was time to calm down and just take in the scents, without molesting the pillows. She couldn't help but feel her heart be extra fast though.
In another part of the ship the boys had stopped talking and where headed for there rooms. Riku, of course, entered his.
He walked up toward the bed, scritched the squirrel, and climbed in bed, without shoes. He immediately noticed Mia.
"AAAAH!" HE jumped up, taking half the blanket with him. "W-w-w-w-w- What are you doing HERE!" He breathed heavily, like a scared bunny.
Mia sat up, giving a sorry expression. "I- I'm sorry! It's just that..."
Mia's eyes started to tear up and she looked down in shame. Riku started to feel guilty. Then realized that feeling guilty was only for suckers, so he just felt bad for her. He sighed.
"Hey..." He started to reach out to comfort her when she asked...
"Can I spend the night here?"
He looked at her funny, changing his mind about what he was about to do.
"Umm, why?"
"Ummmm." She looked down and to the side trying to think of something. "Mmmmy sheats are dirty."
He looked at her, nodding like. "Uuuuuuhuuuh."
"I...I guess you could." He climbed back onto the bed lying down, though his eyes where wide.
"Oh, thank you." Mia replied. They both closed they're eyes and.... went to sleep...
