*Sigh* I'm mad at myself fo not writing an entry for yesterday. It bugged me that I stopped doing them daily, therefore I'm going to write one entry after the other, one for yesterday, and one for today. So just close your eyes, count to ten, say, "There's no place like home," and pretend it's Monday.
Let's start off with my Chemistry class. We were doing an experiment to test the amount of heat from bunsen burners with the temperature of boiling water. We had the goggles, the gloves, and the tongs. Unfortunately, my lab partner, Amber, still managed to almost get us hurt. She was trying to hold the beaker with these thick, slippery gloves that are supposed to protect your hands from the heat. It hit the ground, and for some reason, exploded upwards like it had bounced on the floor, and yet still broke. A shard of glass nicked my face, but other than that there was no harm done. I didn't let Amber live it down, though, joking that she had almost killed me and how my dad would have sued her a**.
After that, I have my Sutdent Aide job, where I met the 1337 fr3shm3n. Sadly, I miss them already. When I came to class, Mr. Benedict said he had bad news, and that I was being transferred out of his class to a different American Literature and a new student aide position. Now this really sucked, because I really liked that job. It was fun knowing stupid freshman were on Gaia as well, and on top of that, he had WinZip on his computer. I had been downloading Naruto chapters and reading them on Adobe these past few weeks.
So, with a farewell and a wave, I headed off to my new Am Lit class. The teacher's name was Ms. Southern, but to be honest, she talks more like a teenager. Apparently because she has problems of contrast in her eyes, we have to write everything in that class in pen. Alot of my friends had been transferred to the class as well, so it wasn't a big upset. Afterwards, though, I realized I still needed a new Aide position. Which was dumb because on Wednesday I have to go to a Student Aide Evaluation meeting and kind of be graded on my performance so far. After trying some teachers I thought would need one, I sulked back to the Counselor's Office with 4 rejections. Then I thought about my Am Lit teacher. She had been transferred here last week to fill in a new spot, since apparently Am Lit classes were too crowded. She was new here, and she probably needed help. So now I have here one class after another, and don't even have to leave my 4th period. School was uneventful besides that.
Oh, and Russell was kicking my a** today in Naruto. I'm gonna come back though, wait and see.
Wait, I forgot. I have to give you a quote like I promised. Here it is:
"Life is to be lived, not analyzed. Time is to be used, not wasted." - Lauren Bacall
