Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been pretty pre-occupied with...life. Besides the fact that my dad's been gone for about a month and two weeks (which tells you how long it's been since my last ACTUAL update), I've been overly busy with drama club and the musical (Cinderella) plus select chorus.
Anyway, not a whole lot has happened besides what I just named above.
Oh yeah, my 16th birthday was 11 days ago (the 5th). I didn't get to post then because my little sister (who's in 5th grade) won the school spelling bee (5th-8th) and had her entrance test in Syracuse, NY to get to the next level which she didn't pass but doesn't come as a surprise being as how she was only one out of 200 who took the test. She actually didn't do that bad though she doesn't think because she checked the words on the list afterwards. There must have been some really smart kids there. ^_^
We went to the mall and that was probably the best part of my birthday because I got a dvd and went shopping with my former teacher (who was a family friend of ours before I even had her for global last year). She bought me a beautiful necklace that says 'sweet 16' on it and has my birthday engraved on the back. It's so pretty.
Anyway, the reason the first half of the day was probably better was because my actual PARTY was later that night. My friend brought her DDR game which I was DYING to play and I really really wanted to but she said we couldn't play it till we were done watching my dvd. (Fushigi Yugi vol. 1...7 episodes). Needless to say, we didn't finish the dvd so we didn't get to play the game and her mom came to get her before we had even finished cake. Just about ALL we did was watch TV so I was kinda disappointed. When the party was over I didn't really feel like I had accomplished anything by having them over besides just hanging out with them.
Not that I didn't enjoy watching FY. That show is awesome. We laughed a whole lot and cracked up during a whole bunch of different parts. It was nice for us to be all together because the last time we were ALL together was like.......
My 15th birthday or something.
Hm...go figure.
Well I'd better be getting to bed. Oyasuminasai (g'night) all!
