Hellsing made me wanna...

The tear clung limplessly to her fluttering eyelashes. Her normally bright green eyes were dead and rimmed with red, her face flushing as well as her brow slowly began to furrow and her nose began to sniffle. She could no longer fight the tears as she gazed hopelessly out of the window, her eyes blurrily scanning the streets stories below, but knowing so far up she would not find anything of interest. Certainly not what she wanted to see more than anything in the world.

"Why do you avoid me so?" she whispered hopelessly into the still night air.

She turned ever so slowly from the naked bay windows, the curtains discarded in a disarray upon the ground after she ripped them off in an act of desperate rage. Her entire body was shivering with emotions, and as her long, red-blue hair trailed at her ankles as she walked she could scarecly tell the difference between follicle or rushing blood.

"Why can't you confide in me?"

Was the secret so truly deep and dark? She had already known him long enough to not let his secrets affect her so strongly. She had become fairly acquainted with his oddities and somewhat outlandish and reluctant-to-respond behavior. However, she took her time, waiting patiently for the right time to cling to the one who had stolen her heart and never let go. It had become something of a dream to her. To tame him who was seemingly untamable.

His personality was already so wild. Was it possible that his secret was that he could never be tamed? And if so... why?

"Damn it all I've ever been with you is patient and understanding. All I've ever done is tear my heart out and hand it to you repeatedly. How many times do you expect me to tolerate it as you slap my gift away from you over and over again. My will is only human. We can only go so far with our emotions..."

"Just where the problem lies Melissa."

The female did not shift or flinch at the sound of the voice. She had almost sensed the presence long before it had introduced itself, and the tone of the figure's voice was familiar as well. And in this case comforting. She could feel her heart leap within her chest as her green eyes shifted ever-so hesitantly to the darkness.

"Hiromasa...?"

A soft step from the shadows revealed the figure of the man dubbed Hiromasa. However, this one was very different. His hair was shoulder-length and a deep purple, as could be expected from Hiro-san, but his eyes were not its usual sage-like color, instead burning crimson with an almost deep-rooted disgust and hate that made Melissa feel like dying on the spot. She had never seen eyes like that.

He was dressed in a black trench coat and boots, shades resting atop his head comfortably. He had always dressed in a dark attire, but this was outlandish even for him. But nevertheless she could tell that the seemingly sun-deprived figure before her was her beloved Hiromasa.

"Me-chan, why are you crying?"

Melissa peeled her eyes away from him quickly, crossing her arms around her protectively as she took baby steps away from him. She had no idea how long he had been there, but if he had been there long enough he certainly was well aware of her situation. And how had he gotten in without her attention. She certainly was not that deeply engrossed within her pain, and with the large full moon gleaming through the curtainless window she could've spotted a figure emerge in the room in an instant.

"You know why I'm crying. You do not trust me. You've hurt me deeply... Again. And maybe, just maybe, I'm beginning to hate you."
