I believe the real reason people are encouraged to wait until after their "30 mark" is because the human body, on average, is still growing and changing until about that age. Interests change, and one person you find attract at 16, could be hideous come age 30.
I know what some of you are thinking now, "beauty is only skin deep." Believe it or not, there has to be at least a little physical attraction to your sexual partner to have a fully satisfying sex life.
Not only is the growing thing an issue, but waiting until age 30 gives you time to focus on schooling and getting a decent paying job, thus providing you with more money to supply a family and a roof for that family.
I think it's a splendid idea to wait until you're at least 30 for marriage. Most of the male's sexual drive has worn off, thus drastically reducing the chances of adultery on the male's part; however, the female's sexual drive starts up not much after, thus providing a healthy sexual relationship. A healthy sexual relationship also helps for an healthy emotional relationship.
Me marryin' my Poogie at that age...hmm...nah, it's going to be sooner. Far sooner, since I know I feel I will have a steady income before that time. All the more sooner. I like the prospect of being a young Father. =3
