Making love to my ego, because all the time, I'm just fine
The saccharine bliss of words almost makes up for the under lying poison they deliver to us all eventually. We all feel the comfort, and we'll all die from the poison. But at least we'll die with smiles on our faces and sweetnes on our lips.
Originality
Originality is something that many people abuse. Creation of something that did not exist before does not indicate it is original. Creation of something that is worthy of the title of being something new is what Originality is. Like a new invention, song, or even character in a story, if it makes no sense or has no purpose or meaning to anyone it doesnt matter if it did not exist before. No one ever wanted it to exist besides it's creator, and if a creator cannot inspire a want or understanding of thier creation in another then what is the point of said creation. A creation also has to make sense, something that is an obvious contradiction within itself is not something that is to be praised. Gaia for example, yes in theory to you an angel who somehow has become a vampire seems a novel concept. To others this conundrum would create ridicule, and those who defend people with ridiculous creations only embolden others to more ludicrous amalgams of contradictory species, situations, and experiences. If you have created such a thing and take pride in your creation, it should be refelected in your work. Pride, planning, true imagination and real originality will be conveyed to anyone who the creator interacts with, pride in the work, puts perfection in the result.

Bravo once again dear friend. You always manage to ponder up some rather interesting things, dont you? Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of yours.

The problem with an original creation is that in order to push the edges of what is commonly accepted means to stand out in a crowd. If you stand out, you make a wonderful target for those who wish to gain the attention from being original without any of the effort of doing so.

Originality, while it is a noble idea, also has it's price. It makes one into a target for a level of abuse, and hostility that cannot always be born. I applaud the original characters, but I sympathize with those who just want to blend in with the crowd.
