I had gone to get some food from a nearby fast-food place and went to meet up with my mom at the bakery. I found her there talking to an old couple. The husband was fairly tall while his wife was probably 6 inches shorter than I. After my mom introduced me, the old woman said:
"Oh, you look so beautiful.... You have eyes like your mother... but they are pretty dark eyes... Keep yourself healthy... Stay home as long as you can... Go to college... Don't get married young..."

I tried to fit in thank yous inbetween her sentences, but she was just too cute of an old lady to pause between her thoughts. Nice advice, but it made me laugh on the inside. My mom has green eyes, but mine are dark brown. The woman had also told me she had had laser surgery on her eyes. I won't even get into what they said before I got there. It was a good experience. The elderly are awesome.
