Xangord's PoV
Looking back at Se'rox when she mentioned about me trusting Xink, I replied, "I trust him with my life and I will
kill anyone who tries to hurt him."
"Mom?" Xink said, looking up at me. "Who was the guy in the passage? I got this feeling of overwhelming hatred for you and dad."
"I'll explain in a bit," I replied. "First, I would like to introduce you to an old friend of mine--Se'rox. Se'rox, this is my son, Xink."
"Greetings Lady Se'rox," Xink said, bowing. Turning to me again, Xink said, "Who was that guy?"
Shalimar's PoV
"So!" Wynn said as the door shut behind us. "Who do you think that strange woman was?"
"Not sure," I replied.
"She sure looked a lot like Aunt Rose," Wynn said.
"Yep."
Tilting her head to the right and taking a drag on her cigarrette, Wynn said, "You haven't spoken much since we got back. What happened back on Riverworld?"
Looking back at Wynn, I said nothing.
"Okay, it's a need-to-know type thing," Wynn replied. "You'll let me know when the needs arises though, right? We used to be tight, you 'n' me. I miss that."
Shifting my glance to the right, I reached into thin air and grabbed the front of someone's jacket and pulled.
"So you think someone from this Organization group is out to get Xangord?" Nissa asked as we quickly walked through the corridors to Bay 8947.
"Considering she was one of a few people that helped destroy it," I replied, "yeah, I'd say so."
"Didn't she create it though?" Nogard asked. "Why would she want to destroy an empire like that?"
"She only gave the means to a human who wanted to create the Organization," I replied. "Not to mention who the father of Xink is and what he means to the Organization."
"I still don't get it," Nogard said.
"There are some things that will forever be over your head, sister," I replied. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Rose. Suddenly poofing into chibi form but not loosing a step, I called to her, "C'mon Rose. I may need your help and I sure as hell hope you're ready! There may be a fight up ahead!"
As we rounded a corner, I saw Shalimar was reaching through thin air and pulled someone out of it. Stopping so suddenly, the others slammed into me.
"What the hell, Dragon!" Nogard exclaimed.
"It's Lord Avondale," I whispered.
"Lord...Lord Avondale?" Nogard asked, peering around Nissa's shoulder. "I thought I killed him!"
