Ok, I got a cold...a really bad one at that. I woke up Wednesday at almost 3 in the morning achy and feeling like crap. I had a cough that made me feel like I had to throw up, and the achy parts that hurt the most were my jaw joints (I have TMJ problems in both joints) and my lower back (back issues too). I called in sick at work and called my teachers at school to say I was sick. I slept almost all day, thinking I was dying because the pain was so intense.
That night, a friend of ours called to say he had Strep throat. We'd spent the weekend with him and we thought that maybe my mom, Kati, and I had all gotten the same thing (turns out three of the six of us all got sick on Wednesday). The following morning we felt better, but not great. I went to one class to critique a speech and then I went home to sleep the rest of the day. Well, until I worked at 4 anyway. Today my choir teacher basically told me to go home today because my voice sounded so bad (I lost my voice. All I have is this croaking thing...).
This week has been the longest week of my life...is it over yet? gonk
