this entry's small description of where Shal & Wynn were, you're probably dying to know more about the riverworld; if not...well fuu on you XP
Before they woke up alone, the last thing Shalimar and Wynn remembered was the
caveman throwing stone axes at them. Almost immediately, it dawned on each hatchling that she was like the humans on Riverworld: bald and naked. Wynn found herself waking up in the company of a group consist of Americans having died around 1980 and Shalimar found herself waking up in the company of several children and a few adults of all races and times. As the years progressed, the girls personalites slowly evolved based on the situations each faced and the lovers they had taken.
Having found herself in a caretaker position, Shalimar became soft spoken and rather quiet. However, Shalimar was also known for a terrible wrath should some fool cross her. Although she never touched those who angered her, Shalimar's chastising was enough to make even the bravest man fear her. Unwilling to raise her hand against another, Shalimar managed to convert many so called "savages" into civility that had been adopted by the people she grew up with.
Since in a complete opposite position, Wynn became outspoken and quite loud. She was known to sometimes to hold her tounge--but more often than not she was quite brassy when telling people exacty what she thought of them. Always eager to join in a battle, Wynn could claim to have killed over five thousand people as soon as her appearance progressed from a ten year old to that of a twenty-five year old.
At the end of forty years, Shalimar and Wynn were within shouting distance of each other yet did not know it. Wynn was on a riverboat captianed by a man who used to be a famous writer back on Earth but was best known as his pen name than his actual name and at one point used to be a riverboat captian
[+1] who was was after a former King who's name was the last one that England ever allowed to be King
[+2]. Shalimar was by her mentor's side as he made arrangements to take care of the sick and injured from the battle that was to happen between the two riverboats.
Seconds before the battle broke out, the two were grabbed from behind by Xink and were finally, offically, reunited.

[+1] His pen name (a form of measurement) is what riverboat captians had people do to avoid running aground. His two best known characters are HF & TS. He had bushy white hair both on his head & face.
[+2] He was regent while his brother was away and he had killed his nephew who just happened to have the same name as the one who had a famous wizard for a mentor (a descendant maybe?). This former King's niece was a maid and his inlaw was an outlaw.
