Once the twins were safley tucked into bed, me and Anna vowed the Mr. and Mrs. would never hear of this sweatdrop . Now, me and Anna weren't the only servants in the manor. There was Jack, and he was the best gardener in town. Alexandra was the cook, and a very suspicious cook if you ask me. There are lots more people here, but Jack and Alexandra are the only ones you need to know about now.
Next thing i know, Anna is shaking me awake. She told me that i had passed out from all the work i had done last night.So not only am i behind on my work, but there's worse news: Mrs. Alba's $50,000 pearl necklace is gone, and someone in the house-working quarters has stolen it! eek
As i pass Jack heading into the market, he says that last night, he thought he saw Alexandra sneaking up to the Missus's room, while everyone was out searching for the twins! I had to tell Mrs. Alba!
Too late.As soon as l walked into her room with my 'proof', i heard Alexandra telling Mrs. Alba that i had stolen her necklace and sold it to a thief. stressed What lies!
I was sent to my apartment, the only place the albas would pay for me to live in, to pack my bags. cry that night, i was to turn from all i ever knew as a servant, to a new life as a peasant.
