Daddy's in Iraq now. He got there safely after making a quick stop and transfer in Germany. He called right before the school bus came to pick us up and I heard my mom say he was in Germany. That was two weeks ago I think...something like that. It's still amazing to me to think that he really is half a world away. And I thought California was far away.
Anyway, it seems that even though he's in Iraq, he can STILL annoy my mom by asking for stupid stuff. He decided the other day that he wanted a piano keyboard and suggested that my mom buy an inexpensive one off of eBay and have them ship it to him. I don't know what it is about guys but they somehow think everything is just easy and that they can just ask for stuff and expect to get it. My mom wants to get him one because she feels sorry for him but there's no way she's gonna buy one offa ebay with a stool and a pedal. Why would we buy something that expensive if he's only gonna be there for 6 more months? Guys are so weird.
Anyway, our drama club production of the musical "Cinderella" is coming up this Friday and Saturday. I play the queen and it's my first lead ever. ^_^ I'm so happy. I have 4 total costume changes and they're all beautiful dresses. My mom bought me a bridal tiara off of eBay (for $17) and it's sparkly and gorgeous. It looks so pretty with my hair. ^_^ Maybe I'll post a picture of me on here later in my ball gown with the krinilin (dunno how to spell it) underneath. It makes it really poofy and makes me look REALLY queen like.
