Woo I made taco's for breakfast?! Is there a better way to start your morning? No.. you're right.. there isn't.
Anyway here is a poem i wrote! ENJOY IT OR ELSE!!!
A pale pink bow leashes
Innocent blonde curls into twin tails.
A giggle and a bout of fatherly laughter
Shout through the sun drenched May afternoon.
The insistent grind of plastic tires against
Heated pavement.
He hides not in the shadows,
but in the light.
His eyes are not red orbs,
but aqua blue.
He has no pitch fork tail,
or fiery minions to do his evil deeds.
Only jogging pants
And calloused hands.
There are no horns,
Only mussy brown hair.
He has no magical powers,
No witchcraft or sorcery,
And yet he’s invisible.
No spells are cast
Only a lure
One puppy
A chocolate lab to be exact.
He calls the innocent to him,
A gentle smile with an evil gaze.
He may not be the ideal nightmare.
But he and the devil are one and the same.
A neighbor’s hello, to turn dad’s head.
A few seconds of well intended negligence.
The devil moves
intent on his prey.
He rips her pretty hair that day.
Cruel fingers bruising soft flesh.
Her pigtails are never the same.
A scream..a plead. These aren’t enough.
No her pigtails were never the same.
They found her bow.
They found her bike.
They even found the puppy.
But she is gone, her ghost is there.
Riding down the street at night.
This girl is gone, as if she had never been.
One cold winter day, among the ice and slush.
A pale pink bow
A blonde curly tail
A smear of red blood across the ice.
