Sonnet- Lively forest

The trees let off steam as they shake tender branches
The Sky stares dazedly as the wind whispers wisdom
The sleepy clouds rest as the golden sun dances
Rivers cry, missing the mountains they are from
Rocky crevices smile mischieviously
Brush sweeps past enormous feet in a race for life
Rustling leaves wait,cry; wind laughs deviously
Wild flowers wilt, die, unable to survive
Icicles are born, renewed in the cold crisp air
Animals chitter unable to find salvation
The frozen creeks' surface will soon be smooth and fair
The forest readies itself for the occasion
The forest is alive waiting for the visit
Winter will grace it with weather quite exquisite

Remeber that day, mommy?
That day, you took me to the park?
it was just you and me.
Remember that day, mommy?
You shooed me off to play even though it was dark
And the strange man came to talk to me...
Remember that night, momma?
I listened to the stranger with trusting ears
I hadn't been taught not to speak to strangers
Remember that night, momma?
You had a hard day and drunk a few beers
We both had no clue that I was in danger
Remember that night, mother?
I got taken away and harrassed
Beaten to DEATH
Remember that night, mother?
Of course you don't, it was all in the past
and you were too drunk to make my life last.
